Of course, it should contain the latest and greatest (speak: most unstable) features on earth. So this task involves the following:</p> <ol> <li>Grab -mm (smurf has set up a <a href="http://kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/smurf/linux-trees.git;a=summary">git repository</a>). Additionally, I needed to check out all tags in that repository (cogito did not do this by default), I still need to check out why.</li> <li>Patch in everything needful and eye-candy, like <a href="http://dev.gentoo.org/~spock/projects/vesafb-tng/">vesafb-tng</a>, <a href="http://dev.gentoo.org/~spock/projects/gensplash/">gensplash</a>, <a href="http://linux-phc.sourceforge.net/">Linux Processor Hardware Control</a> to undervolt the Pentium-M.</li> </ol>
